Description: An all-purpose, inexpensive and versatile anchor for use in light- to medium-weight applications. This anchor is made of pressure treated polyethylene, a noncorrosive and vibration resistant material that provides a secure grip in AAC and is flexible enough to not damage the AAC through excessive torque. The anchor's helicoidal segments twist into a tightly compacted knot near the bottom of the drilled hole. The anchor's rigid shaft maintains the integrity of the drilled hole at the surface.

Applications: Intended as screw shields for lightweight applications such as electrical boxes, duct work, etc. Ideal for fastening door and window frames, securing mirrors, fastening furniture, installing handrails, curtains rods, and the like.

Flush Mount, Extended Stud

Description: TOX's strongest AAC anchor. Flush mounting with an external thread stud. Made of electro-galvanized steel, it is hand set with a special tool or with a hammer drill.

Applications: For fastening especially heavy items such as facade and roof sub-structures of metal, hurricane shutters, steel structures, safety ladders and metal railings. Also securely fastens items to ceilings, in commercial and institutional restrooms and in other sensitive areas.

Flush Mount, Metal Claw Chromated Steel, for Threaded Rod and Johnny Screws

Description: The MKD Metal Claw Anchor is an efficient, inexpensive and heat resistent means of attaching threaded rodsand similar items to aerated concrete.  The anchor is composed of chromated steel and conforms to a variety of thread types and sizes.  Once in position, the anchor accepts a dual threaded rod or "johnny" screw to which a variety of fittings may be attached.

Applications: The Anchor may be used for any application involving the use of threaded rods or where fire resistant materials are required.

Installation: The Anchor may be hammered directly into position without pre-drilling in light density AAC.  In heavier density AAC it may be necessary to pre-drill or "press" a starter hole to avoid damaging the anchor as it is hammered into place.  Once the anchor is in position a dual threaded "johnny" screw or other threaded fastener is inserted into the fully seated anchor and tightened.  The anchor automatically adjusts to various thread types and thicknesses.
